What is Q-max?
Q-max is the highest value of heat transferred, at the 0.2 second of touch. Higher the Q-max, better the cool feeling.
Q-max test details
step1.
Put a sample fabric on the cool plate with 20℃
step2.
When the temperature of the sample is same as the cool plate(20℃), place the heated copper plate on the sample.(△T=20℃,temperature of heated copper plate is 40℃)
step3.
At the touch, the maximum heat transferred from the heated copper plate to the cool plate via the sample is the Q-max value.
